This paper provides graduates with the opportunity to study the intersection between indigenous philosophies and educational achievement. Students examine topics such as local school-based research, current education institutions, Treaty of Waitangi issues, and theories of education and learning as they involve indigenous people. Analysis of these issues within a wider, global setting is encouraged.
