This paper builds on participants knowledge of the nature and structure of the New Zealand Curriculum Years 7-10. It introduces pedagogical approaches, planning, assessment and evaluation strategies for effective teaching and learning. The paper provides opportunities for participants to build expertise in their specialist teaching areas at Years 7-10.
