Molecular Biology and Health - BIOMO306 (2021)

This paper will provide the application of molecular biology knowledge and skills in the health sciences. This paper is specifically designed to bring together the areas of genetics, biochemistry, microbiology and physiology and look at how they are informing the prevention and treatment of human diseases. Throughout the paper, University staff and hospital clinicians will teach a programme that has an emphasis on the molecular techniques currently being used within human health, bioinformatic skills, database searching, data analysis and report and oral presentation.
