Completion of Years 1, 2 and 3 of the specified programme for the BSW with a minimum A grade point average in five of the 200 and 300 level papers, including at least three SOCW-coded papers and SSRP202.

SOCW401

Students plan, undertake and report on a supervised research project on social work decision making. Students critically consider the place of evidence in making choices about appropriate and effective decisions in social work practice.

Admission to this paper is at the discretion of the Convenor of Social Work. SOCW490 is a required paper for the honours option of the BSW in year 4 and is taken in place of SOCW401 and a 20 point elective.
