This paper provides an introduction to specified topics in aquatic toxicology, including toxicology analysis and bioaccumulation. Critical evaluation of selected readings from the scientific literature will provide a theoretical framework for the specific topics and an introduction to recent research in those fields. Students will develop an understanding of ecological impacts of water-borne contaminants and methods for the bioassay of toxicant effects.
