Global Business - EXED516 (2017)
During the 19th and 20th centuries the balance of global economic power was held by Western countries with the United Kingdom dominating the 19th century before relinquishing the power to the United States in the 20th century. As the first decade of the 21st century draws to a close the balance of global economic power is shifting with China emerging as the second largest global economy followed by India, Brazil and Russia. We are witnessing a change in traditional international markets and this course is designed to introduce the participant to the cultural, environmental and economic challenges facing New Zealand business today.
