Introduction to Electronics

This paper covers basic electronic concepts. Topics covered include circuit laws, passive components, simple active devices, amplifiers and feedback, Boolean logic circuits, digital-to-analog and analog-to-digital conversion.

Prerequisite(s): 14 credits at Level 3 in NCEA Physics, Mathematics with Calculus or Statistics and Modelling, or equivalent

Internal assessment/examination ratio: 1:1
