A study of the fundamental techniques of calculus, including differentiation and integration for functions of one real variable, with applications to rate problems, graph sketching, areas and volumes. Prerequisite(s): MATH165, MATH166, CAFS004 with at least a B grade, 16 credits at Level 3 in NCEA Mathematics with Calculus. Alternatively at least a B- in MATH102. Internal assessment/examination ratio: 1:1 or 0:1, whichever is more favourable for the student Note: MATH101-12C (HAM) and 12D (HAM) are available to STAR students only.
